Welcome to the ShineKiosk Installation Guide. This guide will walk you through each step needed to install a ShineKiosk. 

The ShineKiosk enables your customers to easily pay without downloading an app. To learn more about ShineKiosk functionality please visit shinepay.co/kiosk. 

Step 1

The first step is to hire a handyman or electrician to install a recessed 120V power outlet. This is important because the ShineKiosk mounts flush to the wall. The recessed outlet will provide the necessary space for your power adapter. 

Step 2

Plug in the included power adapter.

Step 3

Mount the enclosure to your wall with screws at a height and location accessible to your customers without obstructions blocking access to the kiosk. 

Step 4

Mount the enclosure to your wall with 4 screws at a height and location accessible to your customers without obstructions blocking access to the kiosk. We recommend ~5' from the ground. 

Step 5

Connect your display to the internet (Settings -> Wi-Fi). 

Download the ShineKiosk app from the app store. 

Turn your display brightness to 100% (Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Brightness - > 100%).

Set your Auto-Lock to Never (Settings -> Display & Brightness -> Auto-Lock -> Never)

Step 6

Open the ShineKiok app and login with your operator credentials. 

Select the location of the Kiosk from your list of locations. 

You will be prompted to enable bluetooth. Select OK. 

Your Kiosk is now in the default state and is ready to be locked in the enclosure. 

Step 7

Plug you power adapter into the ShineKiosk and place it inside the enclosure. 

Place the border cover over the display.

Step 8

Close the lid of the enclosure and press down on the security hardware. This will lock your enclosure. 

Step 9

After 60 seconds your kiosk will automatically reset to the home screen. At this point the ShineKiosk setup is complete and your customers will be able to pay for all your ShinePay enabled appliances.
